🔮 The Building Blocks Course Experience
What makes this course different from free resources?
While there is plenty of free information online, the Building Blocks Course offers a structured, cohesive methodology. Instead of just giving you a list of definitions to memorize, we teach you how to read the cards by understanding their core symbology. We believe our depth and unique perspective provides a more intuitive learning experience than a standard search engine.
What will I get out of this course?
The goal is to move you away from prescribed meanings and towards a deep, personal understanding of the deck. You will gain the ability to build your own interpretations based on the visual language and symbolism of the cards.
Do I need prior knowledge to take this course?
Not at all! This course is designed for everyone, from absolute beginners to those looking to refresh their foundation. The material is written at a clear, accessible reading level so that the concepts are easy to grasp, without needing a background in Tarot or esoteric studies.
How long will it take to complete?
You set the pace! We intend to release one new module every week. If you follow our release schedule, the full journey will take approximately 24 months. However, you are free to go faster or slower depending on your lifestyle.
Do I have to follow a specific study plan?
While we recommend following the modules in order, to build your knowledge systematically, you are free to download specific modules for cards that interest you. Keep in mind that jumping ahead might miss some of the foundational Building Blocks established in earlier units.
The risk of jumping ahead is you might not fully understand some of the discussed concepts or have gaps in your knowledge base.
📂 Format & Access
What format is the course in?
The course is currently delivered as PDF downloads that you can save to your device or print out. We also provide a community space on Discord for discussions. We may add video content in the future as the course evolves.
Where do I find the content?
All modules are hosted on Payhip, our official course provider. There, you can view the list of available modules and read a brief introduction for each one before purchasing.
What happens if I lose my downloaded files?
No problem! If you lose your PDF, Payhip allows you to re-download your purchases directly from your account. If you run into any other technical issues, just let us know and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Can I leave the course and come back later?
Absolutely. There are no time limits or expiry dates on your access or modules. You can study as often or as little as you like, picking up exactly where you left off.
💰 Pricing & Tools
How much does the course cost?
To keep the course accessible, we use a pay-as-you-go model. Each module is priced at NZ$5.00.
Because the course is currently in development, we don't have a final full course price yet. However, with 78 cards in a deck plus introductory modules, the total investment will be approximately NZ$400-$500.
Are there any prerequisites?
There are no formal prerequisites—just an open mind and a keenness to learn!
What tools do I need?
While you can follow the course using images found online, having your own Tarot deck is a definite advantage. We reference the Rider-Waite-Smith (RWS) imagery throughout the course, but the principles can be applied to almost any deck.
Can I buy the deck featured in the course?
The artwork used in our modules is a custom project and is not yet available as a physical deck. We hope to make this deck available for purchase in the future!
💬 Support
What if I get stuck or have questions?
You won't have to study alone. All students are invited to join our dedicated Discord channel. This is a space where you can discuss course content, share insights, and ask questions in a supportive community environment.
How do I get started?
We recommend downloading the Course Introduction first. It’s the best way to get a feel for our teaching style and understand the roadmap for the modules to follow. There is also a pre-introduction available on our Blog.
